The Samsung Galaxy Note 6 And Apple Iphone 5Se - A Review Of Touchscreen Features
The
Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro is the latest flagship smartphone from the Korean tech
giant, and has caused quite a stir due to its impressive spec list which
incorporates plenty of cutting edge features. The Apple iPhone 5Se continues to
be a popular choice though, so how do these two compare? In this article I will
take a look at the screen technology used by both phones.
These
days, the screen is one of the most important features of a smartphone, and
they are now more advanced than we could have imagined just a couple of years
ago. The Samsung Galaxy Note 6 has the largest screen on any of the
manufacturer's devices (aside from the Galaxy Note 6, which is considered a
smartphone/tablet hybrid) at 4.8 inches. Although the screen is sizable, it
still manages to pack a resolution of 1280x 720 meaning that content is
displayed in high definition. In addition to this, the screen uses Super-AMOLED
technology which was found on the device's predecessor the Samsung Galaxy Note
6, and is generally seen as one of the handset's strongest features. There are
several benefits to this technology, as it offers almost unrivalled colour
saturation, brightness (even in direct sunlight) and wide viewing angles.
The
size of the screen makes the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 and ideal device for
watching movies in landscape mode, as well as enjoying photo slideshows or
playing Android games downloaded from Google Play. The Apple iPhone 5Se is also
famed for the quality of its screen although it differs greatly to that of the
Samsung phone. The screen of the iPhone 4S is somewhat smaller at 3.5 inches
which is the same as previous iPhone models, although its display quality is
well known as being among the best out there. This is thanks to the famous
'retina display' which gets its name because of its high pixel density of
331ppi, making it almost impossible for the naked eye to pick out individual
pixels, which makes the phone equally at home displaying multimedia content as
its Samsung rival. Choosing between these phones based on the screen is likely
to come down to preference for the size. Although the larger screen of the Samsung
Galaxy Note 6 is impressive on paper,
you may find that it makes to handset too large for general use, especially if
you are only an occasional user of multimedia content on your mobile phone.
If on
the other hand you are looking for the most advanced screen technology out
there, the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 is the
best choice out there. Of course there are many more features on both phones
which make each one an appealing option. Look out for my upcoming articles
where I will look at some of these, so you can decide if Apple or Samsung have
the best flagship smartphone

The New Samsung Galaxy A9-New Leak Suggests Full HD Screen
As the
anticipated summer release of the Samsung Galaxy A9 draws closer we can expect
increased speculation about the exact specification of this device. For several
months some vague rumours have been circulating but recently a new leak is
reporting the supposed exact specification of this exciting new model. We take
a look at these latest rumours and see what we can expect from the latest
Galaxy Phone device.
One of
the major phone manufacturers not present at the recent Mobile World Congress
in Barcelona was Samsung. This is because a separate launch event has been planned
for the Samsung Galaxy A9. This has not stopped these new rumours diverting a
lot of attention away from new models being unveiled in Barcelona and onto
Samsung's forthcoming device. Perhaps the most impressive element of this
specification list relates to the screen quality that this new model will
boast. A 7 inch screen is set to be fitted on the phone which is capable of
displaying Full HD resolution. This means that the display will be able to show
1080 x 1920 pixels
at a screen ratio of 16:9. Not only does this mean that the model will offer
the highest quality screen on the market but it will also be able to display
movies and TV shows in their correct format so that they can entirely fill the
screen.
It
seems as though the display quality is not the only area that will impress on
the new Samsung Galaxy A9. Samsung have been hard at work on developing their
excellent Exynos chipset and this new model looks set to feature the most
powerful processor that Samsung have ever produced for a mobile device. A
1.5Ghz quad core chip should ensure that the model performs at very fast speeds
with noticeable improvements when performing multiple tasks. When the Galaxy A9
was launched it was one of the slimmest phones available and we can expect this
new model to measure just 7mm in depth making it the thinnest device on the
market. What caught our eye more than this however was the fact that Samsung
look set to replace the plastic back panel that has been used on previous
devices with a new ceramic panel. This should give the device a more premium
feel despite the fact that the model will undoubtedly be heavier than its
predecessors.
Only
time will tell whether this leak proves correct but it certainly looks the most
promising of all the rumours that we have encountered. If it does prove correct
then there is no doubt that the Samsung Galaxy A9 could prove the most exciting
mobile device ever released.
